Registration will take place on Saturday Sept 10 from 10 am to 11 am. Training
will start the following Saturday 17 from 10am to 11 am.
Cost for child is €35. If you have 2 or more children the cost is €25 per child.
This cost is for the full season.

We are up and running again for the new soccer season and training as you know has recommenced for all our underage members.
We set out below the training times as they are at present

Registration
It is important that your son or daughter has completed the clubs registration form completely, in particular including date of birth, parental contact number and e-mail address.
If your child for whatever reason, hasn’t paid the 2011/12 Club Registration Fee, please ensure this is attended to by giving the money and registration form to his/her coach. Club insurance does not cover anybody who hasn’t paid their registration fee.
Coaching
We are seeking your help with coaching. Due to the large numbers of children registered, in excess of 160, at the last count, we would seriously ask you to consider giving us a hand with coaching, the kids from U7 to U11.
Don’t be shy and just because you may feel that you know nothing about soccer or coaching shouldn’t hold you back either.
We will help you, and indeed actively encourage you.
For example, there is a FAI Coaching Course, Kick Start 1, coming up on Saturday 22nd October in Dunmanway. This is a great course for beginners in that it gives grounding in the basics of coaching young children. It is enjoyable, uncomplicated, is over in one day and you get a folder of tips and techniques to take away with you. It is run by the FAI and costs €45.
And here’s the deal – the first ten people who come forward and book through Skibbereen Soccer Club, get their Kick Start Course free!!. The Club pay for you, provided you agree to use the Course to help coach kids at the Club. So – how’s that for an offer!
I cannot stress enough to you how important it is that we increase our number of coaches, so why not give it some thought and make contact with any club member you know or any of the following:
